The developers of the life simulator inZOI have released a new update (version 20250701.5443.W), which focuses on fixing critical bugs in the gameplay. Among the most important fixes were those concerning problems with newborns and improper behavior of NPCs in the context of their professional lives.

The patch fixes a bug that was preventing pregnant characters in the game from giving birth in some situations. Now, if this happens, the pregnancy status will be reset.

The issue where newly born Zois didn't appear on the family list after moving the pregnant mother to another house has also been taken care of (the fix only works on new saves). Furthermore, an error was fixed that made the faces of genetically generated newborns appear unnatural.

Besides, the update solves the problem when NPC characters didn't go to work after the player used the time-accelerating command ("timeSpeed").

inZOI - changes in the development schedule of modding tools

Moreover, at the end of June, it was announced that there had been a significant change in the action plan for the development of mods for inZOI.

The next content update has been postponed from September to October. Additionally, it was decided to remove the UI editor feature that was originally planned for this update.

We made this decision to make sure everything works well together, fits the overall direction of the game, and is more consistent in quality.
